I graduated in December with degrees in Dance and Dietetics from Western Michigan University, packed my bags, and hauled my life and my dreams to the city that makes dreams happen.
I recently moved to New York City to pursue a Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (Clinical Nutrition Concentration) at New York University. And so far, I am LOVING IT. I am absolutely, ridiculously, embarrassingly infatuated with the city.
Another thing…I like food. Correction: I LOVE FOOD. There, I said it. But I like good food. Good for you food. Food that makes you feel good. Not just any food will fit the bill. It has to be wholesome, nutritionally dense, AND delicious.
Nutrition is a big part of my life. Always has been. I’ve been passionate about healthy eating since I was a wee little one. Which doesn’t mean that I always applied what I knew to myself and my habits. But that’s all starting to change.
Since I’ve been in New York, I’ve been motivated to eat healthy, be healthy, and live healthy.
